Does anybody have recommendations on shops that straighten steel rims. I have a bent original 15x7 rallye rim. That I've been looking to get straightened but all the local shops only do alloy rims.
I have no problem shipping it.

Keep calling around.  I believe a stamped-steel wheel is actually easier to repair, IMO, than an allow wheel.  But alloys are what is common, these days.  Be prepared for some shops to squawk about liability.  That's the issue I've run into in the past.

How badly bent is it?  I've repaired a few, over the years, albeit minor dents and it was 15x7 rallys because of their value.  But other more common bent wheels, went to the crusher.

Bullitt-

I googled "steel wheel repair" near me & one of the few places that specified steel is a few hundred miles away in my state

  I know nothing about them

same search for Nebraska found this reddit post

"Thats an easy one. Call Midwest tire by the main Post office...13th street. At one point they told me that have the only steel wheel repair machine in the midwest. Not sure about that but they said they did have one and could bend one to repair."

The cost of repair may exceed the value of the wheel.

It may very likely exceed the value of the aftermarket wheels, but if you buy an aftermarket wheel the original trim rings will not work on them. It just depends on what you want. I paid the copious number of pennies it took to get original wheels and trim rings, so I can understand him wanting to get it straightened.

It has a decent wobble to it haven't took all the measurements to see how bent it is yet.

Most the repair shops online and everyone I've talked to so far seem to fix a bent lip and make them look good.

But not actually taking measurements on on how straight it is.

And unfortunately the reproduction don't look close to the originals and the originals are more expensive then ever.

If the bend is obvious we used to just turn it to the bottom, get behind the wheel and apply some armstrong until it came out. Start the car, assuming it has PS, rotate it and see how you did. Not always a firstime fix, but not a difficult one either. Just my  :alan2cents:

Agreed.  A wobble is out of my league.  I've fixed a bend in the roundness, from a severe pothole, once or twice.
