I am keeping my Torq Thrust II's that were on the Challenger and my brother is on the hunt for some wheels to replace them.. He is interested in the Torq Thrust M's but the backspacing looks a bit off to me for the rear..

Size: 17'' x 9''
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 4-1/2''
Rear Spacing: 5-15/16''

Will these fit with 275/40/17's in the back of a challenger?

I run Centerline Convo-Pro wheels on the rear of my Challenger 15x8.5".  It has springs in the stock location.  The backspacing on my rear wheels is 5-inches.  I wouldn't go much more than that, as I can get a thumb between the tire and the spring, not much more than that.  I think wheel offset also plays a role here, so that has to be figured in.  The 5-15/16 BS might be a bit much.

I have Torque Thrusts (Mustang rims) on my car with 6" BS, but I moved the perches in by 1", so no it won't work on stock set-up.

A bigger tire will likely fit. Id suggest about a 1/2" wheel spacer on the rear to get it right.

Same wheel but an 18x9 flavor with 295/45s
