Torsion bar initial setup

Just not that everyone is aware that changing the ride height changes the alignment.
Many people follow these posts for their own reasons and it is just nice for people to know in case they were thinking about changing the height on their car and didn't know, that the alignment will change.

Just remember to raise the car on jack stands every time you make adjustment to fine tune the height. The number of turns depends on front end weight and torsion bar size. Will take some driving to see where it settle so take your time. Once you get the height you want, torque the LCA pivot pins to spec and then do the alignment.

You can do the front height adjustment even if the vehicle is on ramps as long as the rear is also on ramps or and level. Wheel cribs will also work.
Here is why. The front height adjustment is the difference of two suspension points. See the pictures. Distance to floor does not change the resulting answer for A minus B for the measurement.

It is important to raise the vehicle to unload the front suspension before you adjust the torsion bar adjustment bolt. and remeasure to reach the 1-1/8" suspension height.
