I have a fairly nice looking 73 Challenger. I am currently going through the process of upgrading the drive line. I have purchased the QA1 front suspension kit, rear QA1 triangulated 4-link, subframe connectors and torque boxes, new Borg steering box, new wiring harness, and 2020 challenger skatpack donor car for engine and trans. I'm only missing a few other items on my list for now and that's the third posi member, drive shaft, wheels and entire brake kit. It is a factory disc brake car on the front. I would like to get at a minimum rear disc brakes and a new booster. I may consider new discs all the way around. I am also considering drop spindles and a hydro boost system. I am familiar with hydro boost because I put one on my 68 truck and really like it. I would really like any comments from people who have "been there done that" and could give advice on what kits they purchased and where to get the parts from. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I got 13" front 12" back disc brake all around using Dr. Diff brake kit. Running 17" YearOne Ralley wheels. Check front wheel carefully as not all 17" wheel will clear the caliber.

I am using SSBC 4-wheel brake system, which also required 17" rims. I went with Cragars and love the look. Due to cam selection I could not get enough vacuum so had a Hydro-Boost & Wilwood master cylinder installed. It now have incredible stopping ability!

I don't know if anyone offers a complete 4-wheel disc kit with hydro-boost but I'd definitely recommend some combination (since you are not numbers matching, same as I).

Thanks for the reply's. I'll look at them both. Does the hydro boost you purchased directly bolt up or did you have to make the bracket?

I chose to have it installed by a local restoration shop (MoMuscle Cars in Conroe, TX) because they had lots of experience with Hydro-Boost. In fact they had just finished an install on a '71 GTX that I got to see, since I was not familiar with it at the time. I would think there are bolt on kits available now, but not sure.

Take a look at Hydratech website. The system can come with the firewall mounting bracket, different grade finishes, high quality braided high pressure hoses and fittings. You need to save the factory brake linkage, pivot bolt etc. I use a Borgeson steering box and they have hose fittings for that but you need to coordinate with them when ordering.

That's great. I'll check them out. Like previously mentioned I guess you pretty much have to piece mill a complete setup.
