What width/offset and tires can I stuff under it?

Your cheapest route would be to buy a pair of AR Torque Thrust D knockoff's in 15x8 with 4 1/2 back spacing for the rear.

Depending on your tire size everything should fit under the car with those wheels.
I have 275/60-15 with that rim size under my Challenger with no issues.

I installed a 1967 B body rear end in my wife's car because I wanted to keep the current classic Centerline wheels on the car even though thay had a terrible offset. I believe they are 15x8 1/2" with 3 5/16 rear spacing.
With the B body rear the tires fit under her car perfectly.
The B body rear end was an easy install with Dr. Diff's Kit but I did have to trim the inside of my rear valance because the offset rear spring hangers hit it and I had to re-bend(narrow) the rear sway bar.

Your E body axles are too wide and will not fit, you can either cut the axles to correct length or buy new ones, I bought new ones.

Here is a previous post on the offset kits.

find a housing with axles.  You can use your center section.   Consider replacing the axles bearings to the greenbearing or sealed bearing type.  Measure the spring perches to see that they are 44 inches wide.

I found a complete rear end from a 65 B body that according to this guide, is the same as the 67.  https://www.bigblockmopar.nl/tech/mopar-rearaxle-dimensions/

He wants 200 for it without everything minus center

Which leaf relocation kit doesn't require any cutting?     44" perches on this one.     :)

Contact http://www.doctordiff.com/ and he will help you figure out what offset kit you need for your setup. I don't think you will have to do any cutting from what I understand. I'm doing the same just with a 69 1/2 dana 60, just haven't put my setup together yet. With a 65' B body, the best offset for max tires should be a 5" backspacing. Good luck and post pics when you get it done!

1" spring relocation kit required for 44" center to center spring perch location. E body rears are 46" on center.

Please make sure it is a '65 and not a '64. '65 was the first year cut over of the solid axle/flange assembly. Prior to that the hub bolted to the axle. Take a look at them to verify the hub does not have a large bolt in the center of it. These use a key to locate the hub and a bolt to hold them together and the key can snap and spin on the axle inside the hub in high power applications.

I have 8.5 (custom) rallye's with 4-3/4 bs.
With 275-60-15s.
Plenty of room at fender.
Wheels are closer to springs than fenders.

@HP2.     Is there any website that shows the difference?

I need a visual for when I pick it up tomorrow.

Disregard.       I found pictures.
Bolt on hub.   No good.

Good tip HP2. I was thinking yeah 65 is good. However as old as these cars are, it could easily have been swapped over the years.

It's probably no big deal, and  aftermarket axles can be picked up for the 64 versions, but I thought I'd throw it out there to a void a further gotcha in the process.

65 rear end.   All the specs are proper 65-67 B body 8 3/4.
Got it today.

Now I just hat to wait on Dr Diff to get back on the 14th.

Then it's green bearing, seals and offset setup.

While your waiting for Dr. Diff take the housing to your local sand blasting shop and get it cleaned up and put a fresh coat of paint on it.
You also might want to think about installing some longer wheel studs while the axles are being serviced to play nice with those drag radials. :alan2cents:
