70 Challenger 440 Intake

Hi Everyone,

Well, I found the correct intake manifold with correct date stamp on ebay for $175.00. Sent her out to get soda washed/sand blasted, I just finished painting the intake. Now I just have to wait on Scott Smith, he is rebuilding a carter AVS 4741S that I picked up. After sand blasting I found what looked like JB Weld, I thought it was cracked. After I finished grinding down the material, I'm happy to say it was just petrified carbon material.

Looks great.  Nice job.  That center port is just for heat, but it looks like it cleaned up really nice.

Looks good. Yes those passages liked to carbon up especially on town driven small blocks.

Do you have the choke well cup & gasket?

Yes, the bell is still good and I found the automatic choke on ebay with the clip, bolts and gasket. Here is the link:
