Is that an LS?

 :P

Couldn't resist. You are doing a fantastic job, I'm really liking what you're doing with the console too because I've been working through my head what I want to do. I definitely need an armrest and want to do something towards the front for gauges and a hidden head unit
The only thing flat earthers fear, is sphere itself.

'70 Barracuda B5/B5 225 /6 3spd ... about as bare bones as they came .... now in 4spd flavor

Lol on ls.
I originally wanted a phone holder with wireless charger up by switches that would lay flat or pop up. But there isn't enough room on underside. Cup holders are a must. Once driving again I will figure out their position layout that will not be in way of my shifting arm. Lastly I am still 50/50 on an armrest. I know i will like the clean without it look. But at same time an armrest would definitely help on the longer drives I am planning on in future.

Now have the IAC valve plumbed. It is now running in closed loop idle.
Still not perfect but is probably 90% resolved. Did find one setting on that is supposed to help blend fuel and air settings to smooth the idle. What caught my eye is it's trigger to turn on was 1300 rpm. Exact rpm things went ugly. Turned it off and idle immediately improved. Another small win.
Newly installed mini starter went bad already. Swapped it out for the old standard biggie. So that is fixed. As it is now much closer to down pipe I heat wrapped it along with most of the drivers side header. Passenger side to match soon.
Got new front tires. Decided on 235-60-15s. Much happier with these over the 215s that were on it before.
Since it was on stands with tires off, I also worked on placement and mockup brackets for the a/c condenser. There will be 1 in both of the front fenders.
Blinker light openings will be the feed openings for air ducting.
Have not yet decided how I will replace  the factory blinker.

Finally finished (mostly) the switch dash panel. Full complement now.
Going to design and 3D print some knobs that cover the back side of the knob shanks.

Finished knocking out the center console.
Bull nosed the top edging. Blended the transition curves smoother using kitty hair bondo. Smoothed and filled the numerous holes in it. Structure is made out of scrap shipping materials.
Vinyl wrapped top and sides. Wood grain added to face panels.
Textured and painted switch panel.
3D printed a cup holder.
Wired in USB charger up front.
Rear (not shown) has an inverter for 115v and USB also.
Back end needs a finish cap. Future issue...
Sunlight was tough. It makes the console and dash look two different colors. They are both from the same vinyl sheet.
