I see that you found a couple rust spots. As far as the A pillar goes, it has never been touched and it still has the original windshield in it. This is going to be interesting

Under a year....likely the end of next Summer...In time for Carlisle would be nice  Maybe Moparfest

The fasteners on the A-pillar trim are no surprise though, I've seen different fasteners on different sides of cars. Probably one side of the line ran out of correct fasteners or just grabbed wrong by mistake (as in take another toke).

I also found that the driver's side screws holding the drip rail moldings on were "wrong"  well.....they were not the same as the passenger side and not the same as what is usually found...but how do you say it's wrong when it left the factory that way ?

I'll be keeping a close watch on this rebuild too.
When you rip the carpet out you might find enough change to buy a coffee or maybe enough to pay for the entire restoration.
48 years is a long time
