Damn that looks nice! Love the look of vinyl tops on old cars.

Lost track of the "actual days" I don't work on it every day.....

Anyways....The underside is just about done, still waiting on a couple of parts to finish....Installed the Accurate Exhaust system while lying on my back, thankfully it installs really nice....never mind the mixed tips....that's another story.... :headbang:

Member @bpsmopar bought a "lot#" of NOS exhaust tips at the Ben Snobar auction....he sent a few sets my way for his cars....unfortunately here's what I found when I opened up the "NOS" boxes :crazytalk:  We're going to swap it out for a correct one. but this one worked well enough to get the system lined up and installed...

Today I couldn't stop drooling when installing the green dash and steering column  :drooling: When working with so many black assemblies, working with something different is always a pleasure....

I think the green on green on green looks fantastic... :worship:

The nice restored Rim Blow wheel made it's show debut last November at MCACN show, unfortunately it was in another factory sunroof Challenger at the time....Now I'm left waiting for another wheel to put in it's place... :(' hopefully I'll get one soon.

Was this color offered in 71 Challengers? A buddy of mine has a 71 RT he parked in his garage in the late 70s and it sure looks the same. That thing hasn't seen the sun in 40 plus years so there is no fading. It really is a stunning color especially with black accents. I like that green interior too!

Chrysler changer the color for '71 - GF3 VS. FF4 for '70
the '71 version of "light green metallic" should appear a little lighter

I've been restoring my own cars for many, many...many years, BUT the very first paying customer I ever had, I built this 1971 this Hemi Challenger clone ...ever since then I've always liked the colour....but Dan is right...it's a little lighter...(although it looks a little darker in this picture)

here's an original paint "survivor" Sport Fury S/23 I used to own - it's FF4, next to a F8 HEMI Road Runner under the SURVIVOR tent at one of the Norwalk Mopar shows

that's a FJ6 Challenger T/A, sent to be parked in the back  :pokeeye:

here it is next to a F5 Road Runner  LH fender was repainted & re-striped

Yeah it is a little different. Next time I'm at his place I'll have to snap a few pics including the two fender tags. It's a neat car. Even has the original rear window lovers

I´m a big fan of green interiors! Is the dash pad original or redyed?
