I am trying to decipher the wheel and tire codes on my build sheet and have not found the exact code meanings.  Can someone help?

For 1972
Line #4 under Wheels
Road: 59
Color: TX8
Spare: 55
Wheel cover: 24

Line#12 under Whl/Cov
Road Wheels 23 (not 24)?

Where on the build sheet does is say tire size?
Does wheel code indicate wheel size (14"X?) ?  If what was it otherwise a standard wheel size for E-Bodies?

Thanks
:wrenching:

@6bblgt is your best source for deciphering these wheel codes/colors.  The 2 digit number is usually either the last two digits of the assembly line wheel part# OR the catalog wheel part#.  Hopefully he'll chime in soon.  :bigthumb:

tires are on line #2 under "T"  :takealook:

For 1972
Line #4 under Wheels
Road: 59 = #3580059 - 14x5.5" ROAD wheel
Color: TX8 = spare painted "BLACK"
Spare: 55 = 14x5.5" steel wheel
Wheel cover: 24 = #2944424 trim ring

Line#12 under Whl/Cov
Road Wheels 23 (not 24)? W23 = "chrome-style ROAD wheels"

Appreciate the help!
