Are your plans to put the 1973 grey plastic bumper filler pieces back in place, or a 70-71 style bumper ? The reason I ask is because with the older style bumper, you may want to continue the black a little further down so there's no green showing between the bumper and the tail panel  :alan2cents:

Actually my plan is to bring the bumpers in then mount the 70 style bumper filler onto the tail panel and paint that organosol since since it curves in like 70's instead of out like the 71's I'm hoping the screw holes should match up from the old 73 filler.

Went ahead and did the trunk weather stripping, mounted the T/A spoiler, and got fuel tube all set for the tank this week.

1970 filler panel came in, besides drilling some new holes in it it turned out pretty good. @anlauto

So it's been awhile since I've updated everyone even though I've been asking plenty of questions on here. So for the rundown... installed a lift in the garage and got the car off the janky wooden roller....The rest of the pics speak for themselves. Coming up on doing the vinyl top since no one in the area does them or knows of anyone that does them anymore.

So for your viewing pleasure.

Well... called Seven different upholstery shops last week and not one did vinyl tops. It's definitely a dying art. Talked to one guy who had done them for years and wouldn't touch it because it was painted even though I left the top of the car in just epoxy primer....

Anyway, decided this week to bite the bullet and give it a shot. Took me two tries to put it on. First time it beat me without it even breaking a sweat, after reading I could reactivate the weldwood adhesive I ran to the hardware store to get glue remover and sandpaper to get the glue off the car itself.

Tried a different technique and am happy enough with the way it turned out to have a celebratory beer. Couple air bubbles here and there but who cares!! I conquered the one thing that most scared me the most not having a professional do.

Well, figured I would give myself kind of a break yesterday and just do a few odds and ends on the car. Snapped in the grill trim as well as installed the hood pins. Crazy how different a grill makes the car look.
