I scored a set of front bumper guards for my 70 Challenger at Carlisle. I was talking to two older gentleman I believe on row 2 down towards the fence. They specialise in refinished jacks and space saver spares. Anyway they told me I also need a bracket or brace of some kind if I install the bumper guards. I assumed you just remove the existing button head bolts and bolt on the guards from the backside of the bumper? Any info would be helpful!  :bigthumb:

Do you think he was talking about the bracket they used on the end of the bumpers?  I do not recall seeing a bracket for the front bumper guards?  :notsure:

I think @1 Wild R/T post in another thread...

"I didn't recall any sort of bracket so I just went I checked.... Take out the center two bolts & bolt up the guards... Thats all..."

Those "old Men" have their memories mixed up. 1970-72 Plymouth Barracuda's had an extra bumper guard brace, 1970-72 Challengers did not. Simply remove the two bumper bolts and install.
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

I don't understand how that happened... I hadn't even opened that thread today...
