Am i missing anything?

Not being a smart A$$ but it would be easier to list what IS usable.  Frame rails and crossmembers roof structure look rough also?  From a money point of view I agree with what Cody has said but I have to admit there is a part of me that would love to tear into a project like this  if the " what is it worth when your done"  factor is not a factor. I feel your passion  for wanting/saving a M46 car.  If money/value is not the driving factor then " let the chips fly"   You wouldn't be the first ( or last) to build a car for just the love of it.  :bradsthumb:

Well, being a bh code it isn't worth much after a restoration.  I mean, 30K.  maybe. 
But it will take 50K to fix the thing. 

I look at 72-74 every day in the 30K range for cars I can go pick up and drive home. 
With this 70 bh I would be 30K once the metal is installed.  Then another 30k for paint and interior.  Probably a 70k rebuild.

I'm not blind to the cost of what this rust bucket will be.  I'm probably just buying yard art. 

Now I know of a guy with an m46 but it's all done up the way he wanted it.  And he won't sell it to me cheaply.  Trying to get a price now.
  Also know of another fella that has one stuffed in a garage.  White with red interior M46.  Trying there as well. 
Both those cars are in way better shape than this yard art one. 

  At least this one yard art car isn't as bad as the last one I found.  The fe5 car with no tags or title.

I'm guessing owner #1 is Al?  His is a pretty solid California desert car... Might be well worth paying more to get a better start...

I'm sure you can find a done M46 car for 1/2 of what this will cost to finish

I think it's a large money pit, but deserves to have a full ground up restoration 100% back to the broadcast sheet. Nobody has restored one correctly yet that I've seen.

Al sold his for something like 38K.   Very nice example but not exactly original.  Awesome car.  Al was great!
totally different person on the purple one.  It's a project as well.  Not sure how much of a project but I know it's in a garage.......
and has M46 on the code tag......... :fingerscrossed:  Been tryin for years though.

  The other is a racer.  Tubbed, spooled, role cage, Built.  Recently told me he would give me a price. Nice ride really.  I do have a tag readout on this one.  It's the white with red guts.  I don't have a tag readout on the one in the garage. Sorry,had to modify

Alan I appreciate your enthusiasm to rebuild a plain ole BH car.  You've probably done like one right?  Can't be too many folks sink restoration money into a BH.

...and that's exactly why it should be done....nobodies done one before.....everybody thought I was crazy when I restored my 71 318 Duster Twister....but everybody went crazy over it when I brought it to car shows.... :alan2cents:

After I looked at the pics....then considering the original question, "am I missing anything?". I keep thinking, "what do you really have?" You're missing almost everything.
Unless you have a lot of cash to pump into that car, and not care about what it is worth when you are done.....forget it.

This thiing is a one of one. Damn the torpedoes and buy the trunkfloor that has the framerails etc. all welded together. It will save $$$ and time. As for the roof structure, that's what 318 2-3-4 cars are for (the ones that have other damage but good roof structure of course).

Looking at your shopping list of panels might come to around $7,000 to $8,000 if you can work a discount. Having said that labor will kill you as a rule of thumb estimate is triple the material cost to get a rounded up figure which will put you at about $21,000 to at least $24,000. Then you can begin estimating the mechanics of it. A money pit for sure. I have taken on some hopeless projects with a shoe string budget of seat of my pants but this one is a break your heart special if you were ever to try and get any money back that makes sense. I am currently working on a Looooooong term '72 Challenger with no budget (as there is only what I can scrounge up money as I go) but I tarp it outside the shop until money comes in and keep on chugging along. I do not recommend it to anybody.
