So per my understand if you ordered your car with a radio delete a hole didn't get punch into the fender.

Somewhere along the line though some must have gotten punched out for this part to be offered.

The question I have though is instead of spending the money on that since I forgot to weld my fender shut. I read one time on C-C of someone unscrewing their dummy antenna and using a button head bolt in its place and it looked pretty clean.
I have a new bezel and locknut from Roseville but I'm curious as what to what else I'd need since the locknut is 3/4 size it seems. Which would be a huge bolt.

Edit: I'm assuming I'd need an antenna base to screw the bolt into. Anyone have a none working base with the wire not working or missing

I 3D printed a simple black plastic piece that plugs the hole and sits firm and pretty flush to the fender. If anyone needs one I can send it for shipping charge only... about $4 anywhere in the US.

It would be a temporary solution till you can get to the body work. I will try to get some pics the next couple days.

That sounds pretty cool, can the chrome fender bezel fit over it?

JunkYardFind

No the plug would be too big. It's just a quick and dirty temp fix.
REALLY thin plastic so it sits as flush as possible to the fender.

My car had no R code on the tag & no hole in the fender ever .
If that helps .

Well shit, I mean it does look cool lol. But still wouldn't mind then finding a no good antenna base and just screwing a mast on it in that case. No sense buying a new one that will never be hooked to the radio.

Found my old one!!!! It's a good day
