Convertible top paint

Does anyone know the original paint and finish for a convertible top frame?
Was it Suede? Someone said to use SEM trim black? What has been used with good results?

Trim black would be a pretty good match... I've had a few powder coated....

I would say any quality paint, semi-gloss black would do.
