I saw this yesterday while moving things around. I see that the new quarter panel don't have it. Not sure what it is for? Can someone help me out what this is used for and if i need to install onto new panel?

That's the rear window up stop. It really needs to be welded into your new quarter if your doing the car right. Just drill a couple holes in the new quarter jamb where the plate goes and do a couple plug welds. Where you have your index finger is where the window stop makes contact.

@Shane Kelley thank you. Do you know if they repro these? I'm missing one side

No repops. I had the same issue with my car. Somebody had replaced a quarter and left that off. I ended up buying that from Stephens Performance used.

You might give them a call.

Which side do you need? I assume they are the same between cuda/chall.

I saved them from a car I parted out last year. I will send it to you.

Member Floyd recently had the same dilemma. You can search for his post. I think it was in the Parts wanted section.
He may have reproduced it himself.

Not to intrude... I have mine but unsure of the dimensions are on the hex key screws. Unfortunately the seemed to have been lost.

@Yeya93 if you need it, I can round up pics from my 70 challenger during this process. Possibly even some measurements.

That would be fantastic if you would! Then I can search the web for some.

@Rdchallenger give me a couple of days. I just tried to remove bolts rn, but they're rust tight. I gotta take them out at my father's body shop. Lol

No rush at all, I'm currently running brake lines then moving to the interior insulation before I reinstall the windows. Thank you again for looking into that for me!
