Does anyone have a picture of this area without a weatherstripping attached? Car is a 71 barracuda Vert. Maybe @anlauto  knows? I am not real happy with how this looks so before I go further I would like to address.

Thanks everyone

I guess my question is how large of a gap is supposed to be in the top corners of the trunk gutter and Dutchman as it seems there was some rot there and I was going to build it up with weld n grind it to form.

It may be just the photo, but it appears that the upper and lower sections of the gutters aren't clamped up tight together. If you own some C-type vicegrips you should be good to go there. You MAY have to hammer form the lips to get a happy-to-you fit, but that's no big deal either. You've got this.

Is this helpful? I'm working on rebuilding the entire back end of my car now. Most of the fitting is done. Not sure how a pro would approach this but I welded in the Dutchman first and the new quarters index off of that. My quarters already had the trunk gutters attached.

I'd suggest checking how the rear window & trunk lid fits the car to verify if the position of the dutchman panel is correct.

Thank you @70challengerlover this is just what I was looking for
