Trunk pan holes

[Challenger in NC]

My 70 challenger trunk pan was replaced and is missing the holes circled in red. Were these holes specific to certain years? What are they used for? It appears from an earlier thread regarding hole identification, these are Ø1". I'm trying to make sure all required holes are present prior to paint. Also, is there a hole used for a grounding strap?

My 1970 Challenger has both of those holes. They have rubber plugs and don't appear to be for anything. They are directly over the rear frame rails and you cannot see the rubber plugs from the bottom of the car.

Some of these holes were apparently for access during assembly, maybe theses were? Thanks for the info.

Those holes are on every 70 Challenger I've restored (before I replaced the pan as well as after)
They are likely location pin holes for the stamping process
