What is this grommet for?

I "think" it was in my body plug kit.

@bdschnei ... Thanks; I had thought that too, but this one looks like one but it is about half the size all the way around.

I agree - that looks like the firewall grommet for the wire for the clutch safety switch.

Looks more like firewall grommet for roadlamps.

The grommet is for the license plate lamp.  May be used in other applications as well.  We place them into all of the body plug kits that we provide to our network of vendors.
