Hi Mark, Did the seam about 2 years ago i am still restoring the car so no use on the car yet ,but im pretty confident that repair using fiberglass will be solid.

I'm glad he thinks the wheelbase difference was 3'' :drunk:

Even better is the writer thinks a Challcuda could be created with the workers not noticing the difference till the outer roof, I guess the big gap/overlap in the floor pan/rockers wasn`t noticeable?

7E-Bodies

I'll weigh in with my 70 Challenger RT, vinyl top car. Built 11/69 Hamtramck. Lower quarters had been professionally patched at the body line but the uppers were superb and original. Car had seen 30 years of storage, and I'm confident the sail joint was factory. Definitely plastic and it came out very easily with a wire wheel, smelling identical to Bondo. None was cracked or flaking. Now I'm wondering what to go back with.
