The right side lower quarter wasn't repaired any better  :wrenching:
What I found after I started "poking"

The Cuda I'm working on now had 2 quarter panels on each side! Cut one off to find a full rotted quarter under the rotted one I cut off. Every patch tack welded on this car was right on top of a rotted section and the filled with body filler. Looked good primed. Plus 3 different colors under the primer also. A lot of crude work out there.

You guys are doing good. My HemiCuda had the driver's side jamb punched back an inch and then filled in with bondo. Of course the catch was shimmed out as well. Lots of brass in the quarter panels and I still have a chunk of the quarter with the Hemi part of the stripe glued on over FC7 and an inch of bondo. Ha, ha, the seller told me his body guy should have spent more time blocksanding it. Blocking is not what that car needed when I bought it. I almost left it in Manitoba when I seen it but I just love pain I guess.

This repair was done by a "friend" :o back in the very early 70's after the original owner's original wife (now ex) went and dented his new car :pullinghair:
One clue; the door is a different shade of green when compared to the fender! :wrenching:
I guess my "friend" didn't want to be accused of doing a half a## job so he did everything wrong. but it was a 3 yr. old car on its way to being just another old car.

@SYDWAZ  In 1973 I was still pedaling a Shwin! Brazing was the way to do metal repair in those days. and (Bondo) A brand name, got yelled at for calling body filler by that term, was a curse word. I would imagine a used fender would not have been easy to find in those days.

I mean, from that, to that, to that so far. Lol There was some sprayed foam insulation in the frame rails, roof flashing in the engine bay, among other things.

Thats why i always like my car as a rolling she with or without drive train.

I think Sheldon picked that up a "few" years ago....

This is what it looked like after I was done with it. Best thing I ever did (well other than buying my Viper) was trading it for my 71 Hemi Charger. The Charger was all original body panels and all matching #'s. Let me tell you it feels much better to be driving an original car than a patched up one.
It's too bad as a 70 Hemi Cuda was my dream car and it was the ultimate package being a 4 speed, FC7 and white interior but it pretty much soured me on Cudas however at least I had one.
