Windshield washer hose connector removal ?

How do I remove this without breaking it ?

Below is what the other side (in the hood) of the windshield washer hose connector looks like.  I used two small screwdrivers (one in each hole on one side on the connector) to squeeze the tab together to release it from the hood.  Then repeat the process for the other side of the connector.

They are often to brittle to remove , they are available new if it breaks

Worth a try, but don't count on it coming out in one piece.
