My father in law will be shopping for a vehicle at Carlisle and we are curious about getting it back to Texas.

Is it common to have a transport option or two there on-site at Carlisle?

Yes I do believe there is at least one sponsored transport company on site . . Maybe more . . Not sure.  Went and looked but couldn’t find one at this time . . . Plan ahead!
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Interesting question   I know there's not big transport trucks to just sitting there waiting to move out....but I'm sure Carlisle is affiliated with at least one company that may come out after the show to pick up a car for you...
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

I'd think that for buyers who didn't go to the show with a trailer in order to tow the car home if they bought one there, that you'd need to work with the seller to have a transportation company come to his house after the show to pick up the car to deliver it.
I'd also be wary of any transportation company I came across there unless you were able to research them to make sure they are reputable and properly licensed and insured.  I've got a vision in my head of that 23 year old kid who killed 7 bikers with his car hauler rig last weekend lurking at Carlisle eager to "help" a car buyer there get his purchase home.  :stop:

Transport Company? Must be looking for a project cause if it runs I'd be road tripping... :alan2cents:

I'm looking at getting a car from Ca to GA and the prospect of breaking down in the deserts of AZ or NM in july must appeal to you more than me IMHO
