Got my window sticker today!!! Unfortunately though it does not look like I have been chosen for a building spot since I never heard back from when I put my application in this past winter. Shame, thought it'd be cool since it's 50 years for the '73s.

Doesn't seem like they really care about the 73's this year. The T-shirt has a '71 on it and the die-cast car is a '71

I noticed that also, I understand the diecast as a `73 might not be available but at least they could put `73`s on the t-shirt. As usual the `72 up cars don`t get much love compared to the `70 and `71.

I was hoping to go to Carlisle this year for the first time.  Originally I planned on arrive Thursday night and leaving Sunday mid-afternoon. Unfortunately I am now only able to arrive Thursday evening and attend Friday only.  Is is worth it to attend for only the one day?  I'm about a 6 hour drive away.  looking for parts, information, contacts as I begin a full resto on my 71 383 two fender tag numbers matching Shaker Cuda.

I'd still do it.  Friday is a great day for that show.  Carlisle is not a small event and I doubt you will leave thinking your drive time wasn't worth it.

Worth it.  I'm driving 31 hours.
Thursday through Sunday evening.
I never get enough time to view everything.
If I want to see everything in the swap then I miss a lot of show cars and the same in reverse.
Especially if I am talking to folks and trying to gain contacts.

Carlisle is the one venue that I feel all Mopar loyalist should see for at least one time.  Depending upon what time you should be arriving in Carlisle, there is the kickoff cruise in over the Expo Center on Thursday evening.  Most of the swap meet vendors will be still be in the process of setting up on Thursday evening, up until darkness.  Due to the size of our display, we spend all day Wednesday and some of Thursday setting up.  Thursday is now like what a Friday was ten years ago.

You have some people who come in and basically spend all day Thursday and Friday going through the swap meet area.  And there is some of the people in the show car field who will come in and never venture out into the swap meet area.  For it to be a Mopar only event, the turnout is nothing like any other show out there.

Over the past couple of years, the swap meet vendors have started to pack things up around 2 on Saturday.  By 8:00 PM on Saturday, you will see large open areas where the guys have already packed up and are heading back home.  Even for the show field, the Sunday turnout is dropping off as people are using the day as a travel day.

So for anyone who is on the fence about attending, it looks like a record shattering year.  I know three weeks ago, the designated swap meet area was already sold out.  There was like eight 10 by 20 spots over in the car corral area that was still open.  I would imagine, that by now, all of those spots are taken as well.

If anyone should have any special request for reproduction parts that we offer, please let me know as the window of opportunity is quickly closing.

Definitely worth it, there is a lot to see and do but you can get thru most of it in one day. Take lot`s of pictures of similar cars for all the details and ideas for yours.

I sure envy you guys getting to go to Carlisle, it was on my bucket list forever but it's looking like ever getting there will be a bridge too far for me.

This would have been my 30th year attending, however due to Covid 19 I missed two years, so 28 shows for me.

I'll be going.  I was honored to be invited to Building T to display my '71 RT.  1 of 1 with EV2 Orange, Fluorescent  Orange Stripe and Orange Houndstooth.  Also has formal roof package.

Thanks for the feedback on Carlisle...I'll be arriving mid afternoon Thursday and plan on spending the entire day Friday taking in as much as possible.  Sounds like it will be well worth the trip, even for just the one day.
