So with almost no one going to Carlisle anymore, is it even worth it to secure a tent?  I received the tent form the other day and wondered if anyone will use it?  Thoughts?  Anyone going?

Not sure if I will attend again this year . .  :tired:

That would be very disappointing, one of the main reasons I love going is hanging out in the tent and in the hotel parking lot with other members. Dave, do you know how many have registered under E-bodies.org so far?

Can we make a post on the Facebook page and sticky it to the top to let everyone there know to register under this group?

Dave, Mary and I will be going again this year. Mary wants to put her new car in the show. I have not got a show field ticket yet. But I will make sure to put down the club when I get it.

Only problem with Mary bringing her car, we will not have the extra room from the trailer this year.

The tent is a great part of the event.
Last year I met several members I had never met before at the lunch even on Saturday.
I brought a few C body friends over as well and they enjoyed the time.

If no ebodies tent, I will be forced to go over to the Fxbo tent for lunch on Saturday.

Thanks Dave, you da man. I remember when I was up there with the old C-C group, the powers that be at Carlisle wanted me to move my junk away from you guys. Good ole Dave would have none of that and we ended up parking my car under the tent. Good times.....

I wonder why attendance of E Body members is down, if Carlisle is setting overall attendance records every year ? :foul:

I'm always interested and want to go, but am discouraged by having to stay at some hotel out in BFE instead of the one that everyone talks about hanging out at. I went in 2017 and loved it. Got to hang out with @Cuda Cody and meet Ola and many others. I then chipped in and went to the dinner at the museum that had been reserved and catered. It was a blast. My son and daughter were 14 and 10 respectively and they really enjoyed it too. I'd do it again if there were a way to get arrangements at the happening place. It was kind of a bummer sitting at a hotel 20 miles out wondering what everyone was up to. It's an 800 mile/13 hour drive for me one way, so I'd want to be able to stay where a lot of the others are and that doesn't seem possible. Did anyone secure a block of rooms that'd let one loose?

Have you checked the hotel that everyone stays at? Might be a room available.

I usually get a vrbo close to the event and just drive to each location.

My hotel is 2 miles from the show, when the club has a get together in the evening, you can always drive over to where it's at ?
personally I spend close to 12-14 hours a day shopping at the show, so I'm too tired to think about going out

The tent has been secured along with 1 table for food.  Great show!

@torredcuda is this the place where members tailgate? Again, I hated being stuck a half hour away from any members.
