I like it. I've considered yellow steelies and dog dishes on my car. Other than the wheels, it's not obvious my car isn't quite stock.

I sorta like that, old on the outside and new tricks on the inside.

Here's a pic of how low the Magnumforce kmember, oil pan and headers are due to the frame rail spacer to allow the supercharger to fit under the hood.

Sheesh guys-this thing is AWESOME. Car is bad ass to me. This is my idea of a "resto-mod". Doesn't have goofy wheels on it and it's not 1/2" off the ground. I would be proud to drive it...  :alan2cents:

Oh I agree with you I like it too, just those tires are like putting "gramma underwear" on a porn star....
As for the cost/value I'd bet it you added it all up you couldn't pay someone to build that for you.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, there are some well done resto-mod's out there but this is certainly unique. Is the aftermarket K-frame THAT low? Hard for me tell in the pic. I guess you would have to massage the firewall for the stock K to work.

I'm not criticizing the car. I am sure others love it. It's just I'm thinking out loud I guess, it isn't something that I myself would want.
My idea of a restomod wing car would be a Daytona with an injected gen11 Hemi and a 6 speed with steel 15 inch oval track wheels, exhaust exiting under the quarter windows and lowered. That's the good thing about modified cars, everyone can do what is right for them.

But did GYC lose their azz on it ? They not like us and expect to not make a profit. Their a business that requires a profit.

Guy sitting in front of me bought this car. Wanted a green Superbird and opted for the custom car over the column shift car.  :notsure:
