I would like to say that's a pretty good deal and that it will likely sell in the mid $20's somewhere....HOWEVER it's with great sadness that we have to wrap our heads around the fact that these cars are no longer cheap.... and that $25K is considered a "good deal"....How the heck to they expect anybody new to jump into this hobby ? How many young people have that kind of money to spend on a toy ? Sure Motorcycles, Boats or Cottages aren't cheap either....but to me, being married with two kids.....I don't see any expensive toys in my future

I bought my car in pretty similar shape, quite surprising to see it worth that much.

Decent looking car, it's about an hour away from me it looks like.

Anyone ever seen a 318 'cuda?       BS23G seems a bit suspect.  Did they copy the VIN wrong?

340 is only available 'cuda engine going by the 1972 Barracuda brochure.   The whole point of
the 'cuda package was performance oriented, and in 72 340 was the only performance engine
left.

Ad has a picture showing a 340 air cleaner.   Definitely not conclusive, but something is not
right here...

As of '73 the 318 was standard in both the barracude and the 'cuda with 340 optional
in both.

In '72 the 318 is not available in the 'cuda...  340 is only option.

Well according to the brochures anyway.   Factory could have done something different
or maybe some misguided person pushed this through as a special order...

I was just mentioning it with respect to this ad because my understanding was at least
for '72 there were not any 318 'cudas...

Interesting...    a bit low production, but clearly was available.  Makes this one
a little rare I suppose.
