71 Challenger in TN

Hey all, looking for some advice or info if you have it.

I have been checking out the car listed below and so far everything seems to check out on it. It is not the original color but other than that everything else seems to checks out. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I have added the pic for the fender tag as well.

Looks like a "splash & go" paint job.  things that should be painted are painted and indicates it was a cheap paint job.  I would have someone that knows these cars look it over in person first.  I've seen a lot of cars that were painted cheaply for a quick flip and this one has signs of it.  That doesn't mean it's not a good deal, but things stand out to me that make me want to take a closer look.

I was going to say the same thing....Likely a fair price for a jump in and go type car, but a much closer inspection should be done before any money changes hands  :alan2cents:

Interesting car
The citron yellow with gold vinyl top and gold interior must have been interesting.
Car was nicely equipped; factory wing spoiler, RT hood, and rallye dash.
I usually like blue cars; too bad the original color was not maintained!
Not a terrible price for a decent driver JMO

Just curious; what is that code on the top left of the tag above the screw? N2??

I think it's GY8 Gold Met, not GY3 Citron Yellow  :alan2cents:

So the 1971 340 R/T Challengers are more rare than the non 71 R/T 340 cars?
I guess the wife's 71 340 R/T is a rare green bean. :cheers:
I wish I had it's original 340

RUNCHARGER

I really like Challengers. Not sure I would drive across town to look at it. That trunk floor scares me for a start. Price is just too high for what I am seeing.
