outside VS inside "GY9" from the pictures in the ad  :looney: neither look "GOLD" on my monitors

I think the GY9 paint on the fender tags contrasted to the color of the fender shows the rest of the car isn't tawny gold

In my opinion, the tags could be original paint ? It looks correct to me.

We all can agree the exterior colour is not the correct original colour at all. :grouphug:

the '71 'cuda looks about the same color as the FT6 HEMI R/T that GYC recently restored  :drunk:

It's gorgeous no matter what it is. Truthfully, I think cameras do a poor job on certain colors, especially golds. Here's a few of my GY9 that look very different under different lighting conditions. And when you compare any pictures of my car, it still looks very different in person. And these are all using the same camera too.

Oops, yes you're right. I was just trying to point out that every picture of mine makes the color look different and when you see it in person, it looks different still.

This is GK6. The paint mix was not available in PPG's newest line. To match they had the paint rep come out and he did the match to the door jamb area.

I'm pretty sure this car was redone by a fellow in the Harrisburg PA area in the early 90's and I would say has not been repainted since.  I'm thinking that it may have been painted in the closest stock Imron color.
