They gave their daughter an AAR in 1970 as a graduation present and it's a stick.   Wow.

Beautiful car...my dream car in fact.

However, how is that the only "The only known example in this drivetrain and color combination"?????

are you telling me no one has ever seen a true ARR in FM3 and white interior????

The only catch phrase worse than "barn find" is "one of x KNOWN to exist".  :stop:

That's pretty nice original paint for a 52 year old car, especially under the hood

That's what I was thinking. I wonder what the mileage is.

Although some of the engine bay components look a little tough.

Where'd the trailer hitch go ?

Trailer hitch??

The rear bumper has two extra holes right in the area where a period correct trailer hitch would have bolted to. :alan2cents: I think this car's description has been glorified a little bit, still an awesome colour combo  :drooling:

Would that also explain what appear to be cutouts along the bottom of the rear valance?
Looks like something I've seen on cars with duals but no tips.

If you go to the Kissimmee Mecum site and go down to the Lindley collection, you can see more pictures of the Cuda along with more cars coming out of the same collection.  Looking   at the pictures, the cars are showing Georgia license plates with the Dawson county on them.  I live the next county over from them and never heard of them or the owner.

There is a total of twelve cars coming through from his collection.  Some very desirable pieces all going off at a no reserve.

Interesting enough, 45 miles North of me, Gary Edwards is bringing 16 cars to the auction as well.  Included in his collection going up for sale, is the cars once owned by Dave Walden.

Gary and his wife have graciously allowed me to view their collection and it was an unreal collection of wing cars and others.  I hate to see the collection get busted up as it is most probably the most highly detailed and sought after group of wing cars under one roof.  But at least, with them most probably going to a variety of different new homes, more people may be able to see them.  Gary and his wife have really studied the background of the wing cars and their passion to pursue the best of the best, has rewarded them with this collection.

Here is a Youtube video of the Gary Edwards collection.

Cannot wait to see this auction, there is a number of other high end Mopars scheduled to go up as well.  Hopefully we can see some of guys in Kissimmee in January.
