Again not mine. Just seen locally in Socal.
Owner states they have fender tag "somewhere"
It is not a TX9 as plates state. Lime green showing everywhere.
Has elastomeric front bumper.
Underside looked ok from cursory look.
They also stated it is a 440 now.

That would be fun to drive as-is for awhile. It looks solid.

Alan,
Lol on the engine jiving. I will fix first post to be correct. That pic is an old Impala with old school draw thru turbo setup.
Also I will manually correct my auto corrected "gender" tag to properly be fender tag.
Guy stated he had it "somewhere". I would call that bs...

Yeah I noticed the SBC in something GM and the gender thing but I thought it was kind of cute. I assume you didn't ask him how much?
Sheldon

YellowThumper

No, did not ask. Someone else next to me did and he only blurted out that it is a lot...
In other words if you have to ask you cannot afford...

That car was for sale a few months back on forebodiesonly.com and maybe even here... I assumed it sold but maybe it didn't

Is that a "G" in the VIN or a "C" ? :notsure:

No price given.

Alan, it does look like the makings of what would be a G. As it is it looks like a C.

I think it started at $50k and then $39k, and then maybe even down to like $35-36K

 Here's a pic of my G1B and it is clearly a "G" so I'm thinking this one looks more like a "C". :notsure:. Also noticed that my vin is way out of place. Not to hijack this thread but did that happen from the factory.
$35,000 +/- for this one is a pretty high starting point but if a '72 restomod  $160,000 a 'vert could be a really hot item.
:headbang: Forgot to attach the picture. Something about "worthless without a picture"... bless my heart. :-[

I'd buy that for 35 to drive as is for awhile  :wowzers:

Just saw a Challenger convertible on e-bay. The vin on that one looks like it could be a "c" but it is a 318 "survivor". A little rough but I've seen few convertibles I didn't want to own.  8)
