If I need a new brake booster, does anyone sell them or would I need to have my current one rebuilt?   :dunno:

I stand corrected!  Thank you avatar_Bullitt- @Bullitt- for all you do for this site!  Just surprised there is not a new replacement . . So not to sound stupid . . How do I tell which one I have?  11 1/4 or 10 3/4?

From what I understand the Bendix booster would be on the 1970 & maybe early 1971 models. would have been painted black and the two halves are crimped together

The Midland Ross boosters used on mid 1971 & up models were originally Cadmium plated and have a large band holding the two halves together

72ChallengerProject

I just recently sent my 72 Challenger brake booster to get rebuilt. Cost was only $185.
Power Brake Exchange 408/292-1305  https://powerbrakestore.com/

I've not received it back yet, only shipped it last week, but this is what they specialize in, and have been in business since the late 50s so I gave them a shot.

I could not find a replacement that was the thin, single diaphragm, 4 stud master so this was my best option.

Spike, if you wanted to come across the river there's a long time rebuilder in Stoney Creek, about 20 miles from the Niagara border. It's called John Stuart Brake and you'd be paying in Canadian bucks too.

Thanks for that info!
