So I guess any beat up white car that looks like the one from Vanishing Point makes it rare a valuable. You don't see a lot of 6 cyl cars so that would be different but I'm guessing with everything that car needs it's not worth half of what he's asking.

It sounds like he has it mechanically sound which is half the battle, but whether he finds a buyer that wants to drive around in a car that looks like a piece of crap is another story...HOWEVER these "patina cars" or "rat rods" are becoming very popular these days so who knows...

damn that thing needs a lot of love and at the end it's still a slant. but I think Al and I get to claim earliest LA production slant e-bodies (1st week of production. there may be others, but I've never seen 'em)

Do we know anyone who has spoken with the seller? I've noticed that some sellers are so difficult or so flaky to deal with that interested buyers give up trying. So the car keeps getting relisted not because no one wants it but because potential buyers gave up on the seller. There are a couple cars around me that never sell and keep getting relisted yet when I have tried contacting the seller, he just ignores me. Now raising the price just doesn't make sense.
