70 Vcode Superbird 4 speed non console had a bad resto done on it and we have the body sorted and we are starting on the suspension then interior. Sorry it's a b body but it's going to be nice.

Nice over restored paint.
Is there a question hidden somewhere ?

The previous shop did some very ordinary work which we sorted out . The owner wanted nice paint and that's what he got. There is only 3 real superbirds a 1 Daytona down here in Australia and i don't think you see hundreds at your shows also. The owner wants to drive this car as much as possible and he is a very lucky guy . Iam sorry about the over restored paint but he owns the car and i like it also . I guess my RTSE will have over restored paint also but that's me.

99% of restored cars get "over restored" paint and most even get fully painted undercarriages which is totally incorrect but that`s just the way it is. Orange, four speed, no console Superbird =  :bradsthumb:

Beautiful car. Great work so far. I've had enough factory mopars with thin paint, runs in paint, sloppy seam sealer, ill fitting panels that I would rather have one closer to what the factory envisioned not what they produced.

A well known Mopar shop in IL restored a U code FJ5 Superbird that I'd heard got sold and shipped to Australia around 10 years ago.  I wonder if it's still there?
