Good afternoon, I am helping a friend list and sell his 1974 Challenger he has owned since brand new. He has the original bill of sale. The Goodyear Polyglas spare tire and jack are in the trunk and untouched. The interior, including dash pad and partial shelf are like new. It has the original white vinyl roof. The seats are said to have been recovered. Original driveline, but a 4 barrel intake and carb have been installed. He has the originals present. Same goes for the radio. The car is a beautiful example of basically untouched, original, never winter driven, and no work currently required. I am new here but will try to attach photos. What value would you place on this vehicle? Also please help decode options if possible, should be easy as essentially all original. Located in Sudbury, ON

74 isnt the most sought after Challenger, 1970-71 are.   Looks like the Rally model in that it has the Rally hood, and Dash.  However, no AC and i believe the base 150hp 318.  Since the mileage isnt specified i would say that the Hagerty base 318 Challenger of $19,000 is within a couple of thousand either way.

But, that is just my guess.

Not sure if it is 100% untouched. The intake manifold looks aftermarket. Interior of trunk is not body color. Looks like a pretty clean car based on the pictures. If there is no rust, I think it might be around $25k. Any E Body in decent shape and running is not going to be less than $20k regardless if it is 72-74. Green and white top with green interior might not be the popular combo IMO.

The green/white is kind of cool but I don't know how desirable it is. Does it have cruise control? The signal lever looks a little different.

I am unsure of what the 836 is and would like to know if someone else happens to have that knowledge.

It's interesting that there is no END, EN1, EN2 at the end of the tag codes.  I would assume they left it off due to not enough space?

Wouldn't the plant typically put CTD and then just have the EN code and vin on the second tag?

This car appears to have had a repaint.

The V6X black sport stripe is not present.
In it's place there seems to be either a pin stripe or a V5X black molding.

There needs to be a picture of the broadcast sheet.  There may have been some specifics on that broadcast sheet that could shed light on the sport stripe.
Perhaps it was deleted?

If that is original paint, I would say 30K.
If it's not original paint, 26K.

Just my opinion of course.  Green isn't very popular but that interior looks great and someone who likes green will really enjoy that interior.  Looks Great !!

Cool car!!

Ya I am not a green guy myself but it shows well and the white roof etc goes good. Customer did have the driver door repainted, and at that point went with a white pinstripe.

No idea on the 836 either, I've seen a few other posts asking about those last numbers on a 74 tag but never an answer. Pretty sure the L2 on this tag replaces EN2, END Line2.

If I'm not mistaken all original e-body shocks were black.
