I was adjusting the floats on my 440 Six Pack this morning and stripped the needle threads on the front outboard carb  :headbang:
I have a dozen holley float bowls laying around but they all have the check ball mod for the accelerator pump. Can I temporarily use one of these bowls until I get my stock one repaired?  I don't know if there is anyway fuel can flow back through the check ball and onto my manifold.

Yes you can make it work ,you will need to leave the accelerator pump diaphragm & the cover iwth the pump arm in place, although you could reverse the cover so the arm is hidden under the bowl .
Go easy on the aduster nut , basically it should seal with just the screw not the nut but you can snug it lightly with the 5/8 wrench
