I just wanna give a big thank you to Mike Ross (HEMICUDA) for making my Cuda build a little bit nicer.   A while back,  the day before the MCACN show,  I was speaking with mike about the Caution decal that was applied to the passenger's side windshield on AARs smd T/As.   He said he didn't have one but would love to get somehow before the show.  I took my brand new one from Dave Patik, went to the Post Office and overnighted it to him at his house so he could have it with him at the show.   No big deal, I like helping anyone when I can.   I forgot all about it.    Then recently we were just talking about the Cuda fuel filler tube.  I happened to mention that I have my original 70 only cap but it was ugly....so I lightly glass beaded it and painted...for now....until I find a really nice one someday.  All of a sudden, I get a small package in my mailbox yesterday.   It's from Mike and its a gorgeous correct 1970 cap that he made a run of reproductions of.  Beautiful plating, fits like a glove!   I think I got the better end of this deal.... but hey, that's how Mike is.  He was not gonna stand for me running a rattle canned fuel cap on my Cuda lol.   Always willing to help another guy out.... thank you Mike.  I love it!!  :bigthumb:

He's fresh out of the penalty box and right back at it.... helping people out with without asking for anything in return.  Much appreciated

Mike is an asset to the hobby, he pressed in new side light pigtails for me at no charge.
No way I could have done that job myself, Mike came through big for me.

Put me on the "Mike will help a brother out" list too.

There's a few people in this hobby that are just over the top helpful and two of them are on this thread.

I really appreciate all the help I can get and hope someday I can return the good deed.

I'm going to add another post here about Mike, Last week when I was getting ready to install my restored master cylinder I noticed a problem and had to find another one, Mike got it this morning (Saturday) around 6AM with a crappy half assed black paint job and within 45 minutes had it disassembled, blasted and in the powder coating oven, 90 minutes later it's all done and reassembled... all on Mike's free time. So now its a perfect "as cast" with a durable powder coated finish..no rattle can finish here. It doesn't get any better than that.  :bigthumb:

There was no way I was going to bolt that on your car without having hands put on it first. :D

Really happy that Mike Ross was able to help you out.
He is one of the best guys in the business - expert first hand knowledge from building these cars the right way and also happens to be one of the nicest guys you could meet.

You can read about how much he helped me out here is you haven't already
