I attended my first MCACN show this year and was impressed by all the great cars/personalities there.  I saw a 1970 Hemi Challenger, Hemi Orange 6,341 original miles.  I said to myself, "That looks like one I looked at in Davenport, Iowa in 1982.  It had a sign board with the story and indeed it was the same car!  Talked to the owners and it is for sale and they're hoping for a cool $million.  Price in 1982 when I could have bought it?  $8,000.  Another lost opportunity!  You never know what you'll run in to at car shows.

A million might be quite a bit optimistic for a hardtop, but I'm fairly certain it would sell for more then $8K today  :D  Would have been a nice little investment  :takemymoney:
