Is this the one that Ken Papa of Papa's Dodge owned?

I wonder what it will bring, we will see in a few hours.
Answered my own question, yes it is his, he's selling his collection there.

1971 Hemi Challenger, one of 12, just hammered at $105,000.00
Guess its past caught up with it.

Holy smokes!!
That's the record for a T/A I'm pretty sure, maybe record for a T/A or AAR?
As for the front and rear elastomeric bumpers, Ken Papa had that car for a long long time, and was a Dodge dealer.  I remember seeing pictures of the car back in the early 80s in the SIAC newsletter.
Back in the day adding options you liked to your car was A-OK, so I'm sure Ken bought those maybe even new through his parts counter.  Maybe the louvers too?
I bought a set of window louvers back in the early 80s and added them to my T/A.  When I restored the car, much as I liked them I couldn't see putting them back on, as the car didn't originally have them.  :stop:
Though from this sale, I see added options don't necessarily hurt a cars value!

just like:   :crazytalk:
"original sheet metal" - from 20 different cars
"dealer added" - used car dealership added in 2009

Looking over the results so far..... I know we're early in the auction....I see a lot of "Bid goes On" listed.  :'(

I'm guessing a lot of car owners with high expectations of their vehicles are being disappointed by the money not in the building...I think running your car early in the week has some serious disadvantages  :alan2cents:

I search ALL 1970-1971 Dodges & Plymouths
