Hello
I have sent a booster to Steve at Booster Exchange about one month ago. I wrote him several times, but got no reply. Is everything ok with him? Before sending him the booster, I placed some questions, and got a reply very quickly. Now it is almost a month that I am waiting to hear from him. I have already rebilt a booster with him, and communications were quick.
Thank you for the help.

Ciao, I just received my booster last week. It took about 6 weeks. Mark called me for payment, he told me that they were having some trouble with cable service, phone and internet.

Thank you Bob
Steve had told me turnaround was four weeks...I suppose I will have to wait some more time.

I know it's an older thread but has anyone dealt with them lately?

I had a terrible time making contact with them recently but eventually did. After verifying they were still in business, I sent my booster to them for rebuilding along with the sheet they ask for. Five weeks later, I tried reaching them again. After a while, they replied by email that they seem to have lost my booster and are searching for it. I sent it with delivery confirmation and it was received by an employee at the business. It's now been another week and they won't respond to me.

I'm getting pissed at their lack of responsiveness to their mistake. The old "we're having trouble with our phone and Internet" doesn't hold up when you use it for more than a year.

What actually concerns me is that I'm being lied to. When they said they were searching for it, they did not ask what type of booster is was or what it was going in to. Up to that point, they had no idea what I sent them so all they could have searched for is a box with my name on it. If the booster was separated from the box, it would no longer have my name so the prudent thing to do would be to ask what type of booster I sent so they could also look at units themselves to see if it got mismarked somehow.

Sorry to hear this, it seems that the place isn't what it used to be anymore. I think it was RestoRick who mentioned on one of the facebook forums that he had problems with them recently as well. Because of this I've had a few boosters done elsewhere, Power Brake X-Change in Pittsburgh and Harmon Classic Brakes in Georgia.

Both were professional with fast turnaround. The place in Pittsburgh was maybe a little sloppy with the paint, but likely the way they were done originally anyway. Harmon really nice looking, a bit more expensive but top notch work.
