Brake boosters and master cylinders

1971 was the crossover year for brake boosters too. Early would have a Bendex (black), later would have a Midland-Ross (gold)

I came across this post and I am wondering,. I have a 71 cuda with the  bendix booster, like the 1970 cuda and challengers came with, which I just had rebuilt .It came with my car, which was built   2/3/71 . My question is ,Do I need to buy a master cylinder for a 1970 cuda instead of the master for the 71 midland ross type booster?

Bolt pattern & pushrod length should be the same.... Either master should work...
