Coming to a bit of a conundrum here. 71 Challenger 318 everything in stock except for the Edelbrock intake manifold and the Edelbrock/Carter carburetor. Does anybody know a source for the correct linkage for the downshift and the throttle cable that will fit this carburetor?

Here are pix of what I have as it sits

This is hot rodding , there are no bolt on parts , Eddy makes an adapter to bolt to the carb , but the extra intake height will still cause a problem .
First you can undo the nut and adjust the slide for the kickdown link to make it as long as possible  , you probably will still have to put a bolt in the slider where the throttle pin goes through so it will push it all the way back at full throttle .
With the throttle cable I make extenders , , you need a piece of steel about the thickness of the opening in the clip at the end of the factory cable , drill 2 holes in the steel bar & slide one through the cable end & use a hitch pin or bolt with a nylock nut & slide the other end over the throttle pin & clip it on , you need to figure out the length you need usually around 1/.75 inches , so the coolest part is a chev valve cover load spreader is about the perfect piece of steel to use
