45 years ago today my Cuda came of the production line 10/31/72. It now has a second life and has been returned to its stock original condition Lemontwist 340 4 speed.  :happybday:  Second photo is what it looked like when I purchased it 8/19/2007.

That's cool!  I wonder if mine is close to yours and when it came down the line?   :dunno:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Man, I really like the history concerning our cars, especially when you hear some of the stories that I've heard from the enthusiasts on this forum. There is a lot of love and dedication involved here. We all, everyone of us, deserve a big PAT on the back, as well as the car we've decided to give a big PAT on the back also. With that much reverence it is assured they will never drift off into obscurity. There has been a recent resurgence of some of the more outside the norm or box restomods and restorations, just to be different, at various car shows. But the recognized E-body's always draw a crowd. My own '70 Challenger attains 47 years old this year. Off LA's assy. line with an SPD of 8-18-1969, #113, not sold until 4-22-1970 ( yeah, that's right, no one wanted a 6 cyl. car). Traded in to Moss Motors Dodge, Riverside Ca. In 1973 w/ 40K on the clock. I purchased it from that dealership for $1,100. On Mar. 18,1973. So 44 years later, w/ 562K on the clock, she's still with me, and still powered by the reliable and resilient SL6. First pic as it looked in the 80's, second pic as it looks today.
Thanks,   Al

Dodj........... Those are the 60" Thrush Sidekicks, a fad sign of the times. I had added Hooker Headers 3 into 1 those were part of my new dual exhaust. With an H-pipe added it really gives the six a different sound altogether and does give it a few HP's to boot, by opening up the lower end.
