Hi guys it has been almost a year since I picked up my numbers matching 1970 ef8 440 Challenger convertible. Today I decided to look more closely underneath the carpets and see how the floorboards are. The car had gotten a driver quality paint job a long time ago but the engine bay was left original.. Is this also original paint and primer on my floor boards? It even looks like there is an old welding rod still stuck to the floorboard :haha: What do you mopar experts think?
Thanks guys!

None of that red brush primer is original. Somebody has been in there trying to seal it up from surface rust. Nice solid car though :bigthumb:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Agree with Alan-the red primer is not stock. Here are my original 70 R/T Vert floors.

When I lifted the carpet on my 70 Challenger R/T 440 Convertible survivor I found the backing cards from the quarter window Scat Pack Bee decals.  As I understand it the decals were installed at the factory and they frequently through the backing cards under the carpet.
