If you need door strikers, MOPAR had 198 in the system until I ordered 10 sets two weeks ago.  DON'T buy the reproductions, they are solid steel, there is a reason for the rubber cushion under the steel sleeve.  If you have a problem ordering "old school" parts from your local dealership, give them the part number 3454485.  I paid $35 each, I get a 35% discount from my local dealer.

Mike. Would you sell 3 sets for me...?  :D

I'm keeping all mine for cars, I might as well get 20 more before they're gone.  Woops, sorry Pasi, I would be happy to sell you 3 sets of mine and ship them to you in Finland.

:veryexcited: :veryexcited:

I tried a local dealer and he said he couldn't get them.

Why is my local Chrysler dealer saying discontinued.
Part # 3454485 and also tried part # P3454485

that dealer is lazy and don't want to work. these have been discontinued but still available from our supply point.

Received today in a clear bag.  Do these look like the Chrysler parts?

Are those from Chrysler ? They don't look like the original ones, the plating is different  :dunno:

They are pretty well made.  Looks like gold cad on the washer and spacer.  I'm not really expecting the plating to match period-produced parts.  Just want to be sure they're Chrysler parts.  Website states they are Mopar.

Mike, can you post a pic of the ones you got from your dealer?

MoparDave

plating is what is currently available NOT what was. many purists get hung up on what WAS not what is . these strikers are the direct OEM replacements from what WAS.  just like other parts that was available. we have sold hundreds of these over the cheaper silver smaller strikers. I could go on and on about other items but. i'm not going to debate this subject.

Excellent- Thanks for the confirmation.

That's a little disappointing....
I was hoping they would look like these:
I'm no expert, but in my opinion, these ones I have, look more like the original factory installed ones....I've gone through about 20 sets of these over the years  :dunno:

The Chrysler ones are correct in the box I have here, the post is bright zink and the barrel and washer is gold cad.  The plating on the barrel and washer should be more of the "brownish" color, these work properly.

I bought the rest of the door strickers MOPAR had, if you need any, send me a PM.

My mom used to say (humorously): "I bought it before the hoarders could get it."   😀
