That B7 is sweet.

Blue is my favourite color - have 3 blue cars lol.  B5 on the Challenger, LM blue on vette, and wife's harbor blue '57.

But I saw nice Challenger at Carlilse last year with gun metal gray.   I would never look for a grey car but that was nice.  If I ever was to re-paint the 65, I would consider that strongly.

Here is a great link that shows all available color choices broken down by year.  Every so often, someone asks if a particular color was available from the factory.  I like to reply with this link.

X9 T/A or AAR is a pretty big deal too with the graphics.

I'm leaning towards painting mine tb3.  But I'm worried about the engine bay being just a wash out of blue

EV2,FC7 but i really feel that I need a TX9 in my garage! Look at this -71 vert. TX9 V-code 4-speed with A22 on the tag (not possible in -71 but it's there according to Ola) :perfect10:

1970's FY1 "top banana" Dodge/"lemon twist" Plymouth & carryover from '69 EB7 "dark blue metallic" Dodge/"Jamaica blue metallic" Plymouth  :woohoo:

:looney:
I made some changes to the color chart posted, my apologies to the author
I added "black" TX9 & some full-size ONLY colors are still missing A9, F9, M9, Q3, R8, T6
I also put "X" on the colors that were NOT STANDARD available E-body colors (16 colors + 2 additional introduced spring of '70)

I would have to choose TX9 for a cuda...they just look so mean in black :inlove:. For a Challenger, I would choose FC7 with white interior...beautiful!

EV2 and FE5 on Cudas.  FC7 and EF8 on Challengers, followed closely by B7 for either body.

It's funny how I forget about black and anytime I see a black E-Body I say WOW, I love that color.  A Black T/A would be really hard to pass up.

I agree there was a black T/A with red guts at Carlisle one year. It was stunning!  :inlove: :drooling:

There are actually very few available colors that I dislike.  Most look really good when fresh.  F8 is one of them.  It looks great when fresh but really bland when faded.  I like certain colors on certain years.  If I had to break down what colors I liked the best by year it would be...

1970.  EF8 AAR(Rallye wheels) or Hemi Cuda(body colored wheels) / FJ6 T/A(Rallye wheels)
1971.  FJ6 Challenger R/T with white interior, white R/T stripe and Rallye wheels / JA4 Cuda, Rallye wheels and NO billboards
1972.  JA4 Cuda 340 4-speed, black vinyl roof and black side stripe. I don't think the V21 hood blackout was available with JA4 but I would have added it.
1973.  JA5 Challenger or Cuda.  Black vinyl roof and side stripes.  A very rare combo I've only seen a couple times would be JA5 with blue interior.
FJ1 looks pretty cool too for something different.
1974.  KB1 is a cool color for 74.  TX9 looks great on everything!

My 70 Challenger was originally DY3. It was painted a red color when we bought it. I don't think I've ever seen a dy3 car in person.
