Hey gang!
It's been a while since I was behind the wheel, or under the hood for that matter. I've been checking in every now and again, but I can finally post an update.
As some of you know, I've had some
Back surgery at the end of March.
About a month ago I had a buddy come by to inspect my car and check that it was OK. (A few leaks, but nothing horrible) Since I can't lift a finger, He gently lowered my car off the jack stands for me, and put her back in the ground.
Today marks my 12th week from surgery. I now have the OK from the doc to start resuming my life. The surgery was successful and I have healed properly.
I have not yet been able to cram my stiff body into my old Challenger yet, but I can now start the countdown!
I'm dying to take it out, but at the same time, I'm scared to get stranded in it, just because I won't be able to do a damn thing to wrench on it! Lol
Hope to be on the road soon-
Dan

Glad to hear your surgery went well Dan!  Thanks for the update and let us know once you can bend enough to get back in your car.   :burnout:

Glad to both hear you're recovering well and that you haven't lost the "need" Dan! Steady as she goes.

I wish! It's not that simple.
I have a lot of family make up time due. Haven't been able to do much, so my life has been on hold.
I go back to work that week as well. I'll get down there someday!

Glad that the surgery was successful and you are getting ready to get back behind the wheel.

Great news Dan. When you're more mobile a few of us should go for a bit of a run.

Dan, having had two similar major back surgeries in 2014 and 2015 I feel your pain and stiffness.  All I can say is it will get better, slowly at first.  Best therapy I found to recover and get over the stiffness is walking.  Walk every day and keep increasing your distance/time!  Before long you'll be feeling like your old self.  Good luck with your recovery.
