Does anyone have the top strap measurement for a 1970 Challenger hood hinge.
The 70-71 strap is different correct? I think I have a 71 Hinge and the strap measures 1-3/8
Thanks Bob

At least 3 different hinges.  1970 with the small top bar and uses 5/16 bolts, 1971-(I think to 72) uses a larger top bar and 3/8 bolts.  The 73-74 that change the gear teeth to bars and are a little more stable.  All will work and interchange with each other.

Mine are 1 1/8" 70 Challenger convertible

These were removed from my 1970 Barracuda, I'm guessing that Challengers would be the same. As far as I know they are originals. Numbers on the right one are: EMF 41R, EM 1259 and the numbers on the left one are: EMF 42L, EM 1259.  If your asking about the "strap" that's circled mine look to be 1 1/8 (using a ruler) and measured as 1.152 using a digital caliper. The difference might be paint build up.

Thanks for helping out. The difference between 70 Challenger and 70 Cuda is the spring size and coils.
I found 70 Correct Challenger ones. Thanks to Steve Muscle Car Parts
