Longshot...

So I was going through some old college papers and found a speeding ticket from 1986 in my old high school / college car - a 1974 Barracuda.  73 mph in a 55.  Anyway, this ticket had the VIN on it - BH23G4B315842

The car was rough and rusty when I got it around 1983, paid $150 for it at the time.  Originally pale yellow (KY4 Golden Fawn?) with white interior and a white vinyl top.  318 slapstick auto (ball shifter), AM radio, AC, PDB, PS, 8 3/4, typical.  It probably should have been junked or parted then, but it was saved and fixed enough for me to put another 100k or so on it, daily in all weather.  (BTW, E-bodies aren't very good in the snow and ice, pretty light in the rear, I added weight... the extra road salt exposure didn't help the body...)

Anyway, I sold it around 1988, orange with a decent black interior, looked OK but with rust and with serious rust around the driver's feet/structure area, which I disclosed to the buyer as a safety issue.  I haven't seen or heard of it since, just wondering if it may still be out there somewhere...  If so, I can share a little history with the owner.

Thanks,

Jim
