I went to look at this car today, hope to seal the deal on the weekend....
Check out the great colour combo on a car with very little options:
An original 1971 Challenger R/T
-383 4bbl car
-3 speed THREE SPEED 1-of-59 made
-A78 Formal roof package (SE basically)
-Black leather interior
-Black Vinyl top
-Plum Crazy Exterior
-White Stripes...
-AM Radio
....and basically nothing else...manual brakes, manual steering....

It's missing the engine/transmission and no broadcast sheet so it's likely going to end up as a resto-mod....but hey if you want to save it from this terrible fate....you can buy it now, restore it yourself, or have me restore it....

Anyways...I thought it was an oddball...

Big tease.  How's the rest of the project look?  I'm a fool for any FC7.  :inlove:

It's an original Texas car with very little rust. Had damage to one rear quarter from a wheel coming off and a very shoddy repair, that's about the worst...I'll trade ya for one of your 71 Cudas

Brads70

It looks to have that wide hood trim unique to 71's?  I like that option!

That appears to be a very low SPD. Is the vin a low number also?

Cool car, has several options for being a fairly low optioned car.
I'm sure your not putting the D13 back in it, I'm curious if it is a 71 stamping or possibly a 70 stamping.  I'm looking for an early 70 D13.

The guy I'm buying it from said he has a D13 to go with it, but I had already told me I have no interest in it unless it's the number matching transmission...If it's not, I'll be certain to find out what it is

I've still gotta put my two through university first, but it might be time for another yellow R/T after that.
